Pioneering Local Style and Flavour
Our family has been working with our land since the 1950s. Vigneti Zanatta was the first winery on Vancouver Island to specialize in Champagne-style wines (or, “méthode champanoise.”) Our process is intensive: all of our bottles are hand riddled and disgorged. From bottling to labeling, Vigneti Zanatta is hands on.

Allegria Brut Rosé – limited release
$25.56 - Aged on the lees for a minimum of 12 months, this Champagne-method sparkling wine boasts a raspberry hued cuveé of Pinot Noir with a very rich, fruity body and gentle aromas of strawberries and raspberry.
$20.78 - Our Pinot Nero is grown on our steepest gravel slopes, producing complex fruit and spice flavours. The wine is aged in a combination of old and new French barrels, producing subtle oak flavours with highlights of vanilla and tobacco and an integration of black pepper and raspberry notes.
Glenora Fantasia Brut
$24.78 - Crafted in the traditional method, this sparkling wine is aged on the lees for a minimum of 3 years. 100% Cayuga grapes are gently pressed immediately upon harvest to produce an utterly unique sparkling wine. A bouquet of green apple is expressed through an array of small persistent bubbles.
$14.91 - A subtle blend of four varieties and a unique vinification gives Damasco its fruity bouquet and rich ‘mouthfeel’ with a slight effervescence. Light and fresh, it makes a perfect appetizer or sipping wine, but is also very suited to Asian or light west coast foods.
Brut Tradizionale - Available spring 2019
$25.22 - This sparkling wine is made in the traditional method of Champagne, using Pinot Nero grapes (Pinot Noir). Rich in toasty notes, our Tradizionale has an excellent integration of carbon dioxide, which creates a delicious profusion of small, persistent bubbles.
Pinot Grigio - Sold out
$14.91 - Growing Pinots is very intensive and their complexities reflect our regional characteristics. Pinot Grigio is a full body, dry white wine.
This unique wine pairs well with many dishes, especially rich white meats and seafood.
$14.35 - Producing since 1989, Ortega is the first wine variety Zanatta released upon opening in 1992. The cross of Siegerrebe and Mϋller Thurgau produces a fruity full-bodied white wine.
A dry white wine, with a hint of Muscat, Ortega pairs well with spicy Asian or Indian cuisine.
Taglio Rosso (Brut) Available spring 2019
$31.31 - A deep red sparkler done in the the traditional method of Champagne, we use Cabernet Sauvignon and Castel grapes.
Taglio Rosso is aged on the lees for 12 months to maintain it’s youthful fruitiness. Very limited production.
