Our tasting room hours will change in September to Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. Our last day open for this season will be Sunday, September 29th.

You can also email the winery to arrange pick up of any ordered wine!

Nestled in the Glenora region of the Cowichan Valley, just minutes from Duncan, BC, Zanatta is proud to be Vancouver Island's first estate winery.

BC Day Dinner – August 4th, 2024

We were very excited to host our BC Day Dinner in August 2024 starring Chef of the Year Clark Deutscher and his amazing teams from Nowhere, Hanks, Ate, and the kitchen at Friends of Dorothy.

Committed to tradition, our roots run deep: we have lived and worked on our land for over half a century and are gratified to watch our family legacy flourish.

Zanatta is a small estate farm winery. We have 25 acres of land dedicated to growing grapes and we use 100% of our own fruit in the making of our unique wines.

Our Wines

We create wines that embody the true flavours of the Cowichan Valley. Artisanal and accessible, we fuse traditional practices with innovative methods to produce wine that is made to be enjoyed often.

With an emphasis on Champagne-style wine, we make wines to please any palate.

Our Story

Appreciating the potential of Vancouver Island's unique climate, founder Dennis Zanatta began to experiment with growing grapes in the Cowichan Valley over 30 years ago.

Today, we are proud to have pioneered a thriving wine industry on Vancouver Island and excited to watch our story grow.
